Sweet Deal

For most of January and February, ROCK was busy selling much-needed chocolates to the church community.  This year there were 5 cake truffle flavors to choose from:  Double Chocolate, Strawberry, Buttercream, Mint Chocolate, and Peanut Butter!  There was also a beautiful truffle cake that was raffled off.

Thanks to the generous members of the church, the fundraiser was a great success, earning the youth $734 in profits.  These profits will go to help the youth participate in a number of activities throughout the year, but it is a significant help to those planning on attending the Summer Mission Trip to Pine Ridge Reservation.  We are really looking forward to this trip were we get to serve the kids of a population that is highly under-served.  We'll learn about life on the reservation explore how our two very different communities intersect.
